Summary0003304: Random crash in setup
DescriptionI haven't even managed to start a fortress yet in the latest version, I get random crashes during the prepare for the journey carefully when messing around with skills, etc. It just crashes out with Dwarf Fortress has stopped working.
Steps To ReproduceI assume it's a win7 or x64 (or both) issue, but if you hit prepare carefully, mess around for a few minutes (5 or 10 or so) it crashes every time for me, not at any particular point. I think it may be on keypress, not really sure.

Considering I'm running very a very similar setup to yours, and haven't had any setup crashes, I'd have to guess there's some hardware configuration issue at play.

I guess try updating your videocard drivers, try the legacy version, and report back if you can ever get a consistent series of steps that causes a crash?

Drivers are fine. Seems to be okay with the legacy version for some reason though.

Ok, if it works with legacy and not SDL then it's definitely some issue with the graphics setup on your PC, since the only real difference between those is that the SDL version has some of its graphics display code altered to use the aforementioned SDL and OpenGL.

I've heard of people having trouble before specifically with the OpenGL side of their drivers. You may want to check out that.
