| Description | I have a fort with forwarded barracks, somehow the military often ignores wild animals with the benign tag (sometimes even harmless ones without that tag) while this animals dont wreak havoc in my fort, all civil dwarfs (even uniformed but inactive military ones) wil lcancel tasks, even suspend constructions if they run across those animals. a fix would be to either be able to make my military kill those animals (instead of 30 ignoring them while the civil ones run away) or civil dwarfs wont cancel tasks unless they are directly threatened (the animal charges at them etc.) | ||||

Still present in 0.40.24, with the new thought system. A hunter "is terrified in conflict" from hunting turkeys and an opossum. This particular hunter is not of a nervous disposition as far as I can tell (rather "She would never pass up a chance for a good fistfight."). |

This is probably related, but the same goes for a cyclops that visited my fort. This pansy was totally terrified of, and ran away from, a small wombat, which she had targeted. I have a save, if anyone is interested. |
