| Description | An infant was wounded while his mother was on patrol duty, lower body cut open and guts exposed. The mother still gamely carries the wounded baby around, dragging his guts behind her, even though she has since gone off duty. (Weirdly, when off duty, she's a legendary wound dresser.) | ||||
| Additional Information | I realize this is from a few versions ago, but I haven't seen anything in the bugfix list to suggest it would have changed. The only related bugs seem to be the inverse, a mother that ignores her child once she's been wounded. | ||||

Update: Child finally hobbled off himself once he reached childhood, and was treated, but even after being cleaned, sutured and dressed, he's still dragging his guts behind him, which matches bug 2872 |

I'm uploading a save file for the similar situation I encountered and reported in the duplicate 0004859, it can be found at http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=4890 In the save, a baby (Medtob Keskalinem) is wounded and is carried around by his mother (Goden Sashassazir), and is not taken to hospital. The mother is carrying out what is at least her second "store item in bin" task since the baby was injured. The baby can be quickly found using (r)ecenter on the status (z) health menu (press up, as he is on the last page of the list), look for green D and a purple Bl~ next to the name. |
