Was it unconsciouses when this happened? If yes then it's nothing new. I actually think this is intentional to keep your adventurer from continuously attacking targets who doesn't pose a threat anymore while there are other dangers you should be fighting against. |

Unconscious enemies become neutral for you and your companions to allow them to switch to other targets. |
|

Doesn't happen anymore with wild animals. Tested in various plays. |
