Summary | 0003604: ambushes cause game to crash (maybe)
Description | every now and then the game just crashes, seemingly for no reason, however i have never been ambushed (i have been sieged though) it seems to me this is a likely possible cause
Additional Information | i will see if i can find a way to turn ambushes off and wait for another crash

I get my first goblin ambush and they killed some tame animals at surface, then they started closing my entrance - then game crashed: Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed) I loaded autosave and after some time goblin ambush appeared and they killed some kitten at surface, then started coming inside fortress and crash again... I reproduces this crash 4 times and it was always related to goblin ambush (i have not had sieges, and kobold's did not cause crash). It may have something to do with weapon traps at my fortress entrance? |

Based on your description I'd have to guess it's due to the weapon traps at your fort entrance - when the goblins trigger them, it's crashing your game. Unfortunately this report is a duplicate of 0003576, but fortunately for you this is probably fixed in 31.18. |
