The "small" and "large" indicator is relative to the observer - if you assume control of a dwarf and then examine the equipment, it'll all appear to be of normal size (and human-sized armor will be large, kobold-sized armor will be small, etc.). Presumably, Arena mode uses a different "default creature" for size comparisons when not controlling a creature. |

You're right. When in control of the dwarf, his items appear normal, human's as 'large', and kobold's as 'small'. When in control of kobold the other's appear as 'large', and vice versa when in control of a human. This one can be closed. |
