Summary0003666: Multiple merchants in a single shop
DescriptionWhen I go to a human town and visit a shop, there is almost always several merchants, each trading the same goods. My guess is it took all the people who live in the cottage (like when you visit a hamlet, there's ~10 people in each house) and made them merchants. Presumably only one of them should be the one responsible for trading.

Multiple traders lead to other issues - for example, I traded some things for credit and now the merchant 2000 monies. But when I speak to other merchants inside, they don't own me anything (even it's still the same shop), only the specific guy does.
Steps To ReproduceWalk in a human town, visit a shop.

The 0000019:0000010 was supposed to be ~ 10.

The money he owed you were placed on the table. As far as I know multiple merchants is not a bug. It's just like this for now.

Jiri said he "traded some things for credit", meaning that the merchant (presumably) had no coins left.

I noticed this too and it's definitely weird enough to warrant a report.

No I said credit because he didn't give me anything, he still had a chest full of money. But I haven't checked the table, and will keep it in mind, thanks.

Anyway, this report regards the multiple merchants, not the coins.

The OP clarified this report to be about the multiple merchants, which if they weren't intended before, the new screens for the next version certainly shows it as intentional from now on.

Jiri (or anyone else), if you want, you can open another report regarding the supposed 'credit' if you didn't find your coins on the trade table. If possible, it would be nice to have a save to look at - (http://dffd.wimbli.com) and post a link here.
