| Description | When exporting a "Detailed Map" in Legends Mode, the resulting map has dark blue surrounding all the black areas. The resulting map thus isn't particularly useful as a heightmap. I think the game is colorizing underwater areas as navy, but the map shouldn't be colored at all since it's supposed to be a greyscale heightmap. Respecting ocean floors or ocean surfaces both have this problem. I don't have any other machines or OS's to test this, but I'm using Windows. I think I exported maps from a pre-SDL version just fine with no coloration. | ||||
| Additional Information | This is really minor since image editors are very capable of greyscaling the resulting blue. Still, the resulting greyscale isn't exactly the smoothest of transitions from "above water" to "underwater", especially when you consider that not everything is going to be placing the water at the same height as Dwarf Fortress does. | ||||

it's supposed to be a greyscale heightmap. Does the game's documentation state this somewhere? |
