Summary0003819: Bolts and arrows miss if target moves in the square they are in.
DescriptionBolts and arrows seem to only hit if the ammo moves into the square with the target. If target instead moves into the square occupied by ammo, the bolt/arrow will miss even if movement is in straight path of ammo.

Since arrows and bolts move rather slowly compared to creatures, there seems to be a high chance of this happening when charging a shooter.
Steps To ReproduceBest seen with one shooter vs. one melee fighter. Requires some luck to reproduce due to the randomness of movement (when in adjacent squares, creature must move before ammo. Fast unit as melee fighter will make it more likely.
Additional InformationMay be intentional.
If not, might be worth thinking if units should move into slots with moving bolts/arrows at all, or avoid them

Might be easiest to fix by making bolts and arrows move much faster, to minimize the chance of this happening. That way it would be lucky dodge if it does happen.
Could also be tied to dodge skill.

The game seems to use some sort of turn based system for determing who goes first, so it doesn't matter how fast the ammo moves(and it goes faster than unmodded creatures) only who goes first when the ammo arrives next to a creature.

That is true, but if bolt movemet speed will be more then twice the creatures movement speed, then the bolt wll have higher chance to move first. The more times bolt can travel compared to creature, the more likely it is the bolt will move first. Bolt moving 5 times the speed of target only gives 20% chance of dodging it.
