| Description | this is a problem in all areas of an adventure mode game with no visible reasons behind it walking around in any direction and pattern will lock up the game every so often for about 10-30 seconds sometimes there's a large gap between such freezes but they are almost certain to occur | ||||

The fact that there's a delay at all is normal - every time you move at least 48 spaces, the game has to load more terrain further offscreen. However, it probably shouldn't be quite that long unless your computer is significantly underpowered - how fast is your CPU and how much memory do you have? |

Another factor is the world size and your location within it - did you generate a "Large" (256x256) world, and are you close to a volcano or a mountain peak? |

medium region and always happens everywhere....I haven't even decided to go near mountains or the like because adventure dwarf forting isn't built yet |
