Summary0003908: Hitting person with silver maul is far weaker than just punching him
DescriptionWhile playing Adventure Mode as a Legendary Hammerman, I came across a strange occurrence. Normally, I just swing for the head and hope for the best, but my silver maul was bouncing quite pathetically off the skulls of ordinary humans. Frustrated, I punch a guy in the face. Cracking his skull through his brain, I realise that I just did what my hammer could not.

I tested this further. My Legendary Hammerman and Competent Striker went on to test versus armour plating (where my maul would be deflected by copper breastplates, and my fist would pierce iron ones) and on several sorts of foes.

I couldn't see any reason why I should be able to punch a guy's skull through his head without being able to dent it with a massive hammer.
Steps To ReproduceGet a hammerman and beat up a target. Get a striker and punch a target. Compare damage.

it might be cus mauls suck, if your going to hammer something use a warhammer preferably silver or steel, silver is denser but steel is a better metal and should bounce less often.

A legenday hammerdwarf in the arena had no problem in splitting skulls at will with a silver maul.
