Summary0003998: useless "Digging designation canceled"
Descriptionwarm/damp messages will appear even for safe magma/water. What is very irritating for digging over/under magma/water: safe but connected with message, stopping, designations cancellation spam.

It's still not safe in those cases since you can channel into it, dig ramps into it, dig stairs into it, etc, all of which will probably endanger your dwarfs.

This complaint was noticed long ago and now there are settings you can change to turn it off, check the announcements.txt file in your init folder and the wiki.

Resolving as the complaint in question is userchangable and fixed in a previous version.
