Summary0004497: Dwarf child vanishes into thin air, only to reappear later.
DescriptionA dwarf child was walking outside near my fort's walls, when an ambush appeared right beside him. A second after, the kid vanished. Completely. I couldn't find him in my unit list, I couldn't see him anywhere, the goblins were just standing where he used to be because they lost their target.

A couple of minutes later, I re-check my unit list. And there he was, visible again. Sleeping in his bedroom like nothing ever happened. This is the first time this has ever happened to me during my years of playing DF and I have absolutely no idea what caused it. The only announcement message that I got was "Child cancels sleep: interrupted by goblin pikeman" and right after that he teleported into another dimension.
Steps To ReproduceMight have something to do with ambushes cancelling the sleep of a child. Otherwise, no idea. At all. This left me baffled.

Yes, I think they did.. oh now I understand what happened. Freak incident regarding the invisible snatcher. Thanks.

Being snatched into a bag, in DF, is probably much like being trapped in an alternate dimension. Resolved because it sounds like it's just the normally weird behaviour of snatchers.
