Summary | 0004563: Dwarves use soap from hospital for bathing
Description | This report is a result of deduction, not direct observation. A while ago as I built cabinets in the hospital I observed that there was about 600 units of soap there. Now as I started another batch of soap making and checked the stores I noticed that there were only two bars of soap in the whole fort and hospital stores were down to 138. I haven't used soap for construction or trading. There has been fighting and wounded but definitely not so much that it would have used up 400 units of soap, assuming one cleaning of patient uses one unit. The only logical conclusion is that dirty dwarfs have pilfered hospital stocks for their personal use.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Have hospital and soap stocked in. 2. Have bloody mess. A goblin death tower works quite well. Animals walking in the rain spread mess around quite effectively. 3. Have a water source: a well or a designated zone. 4. Watch dwarfs enjoy their soapy baths at the well. 5. Wonder where all the soap vanished from hospital.
Additional Information | I'm pretty sure that the whole point of having stuff stocked in hospital is to reserve it for hospital use. Hospital stockpiling rather broken in general, though, so there are several related bugs.
