Are you certain it isn't just blood washed off from other creatures by the rain? If you are certain that this isn't the case, you should upload a save that shows the problem at the DFFD: http://dffd.wimbli.com/

Yes I am. I checked it few times.
Blood appears on for example just built roof top, or on most top ground level (sky is only thing above) and so on. As for goblin blood it usually belongs to the only one goblin - forgot his name but will upload save and you will see.

this is to be expected because rain washes blood of from dwarfs, so if one has splatters on his shows from your traps, or a fully covered soldier and stands in the rain he will leave the splatter/smear on the floor and is washed from the rain (or rather the bloo gets replaced by a covering of water)

I uploaded save into depo, you can check it.

It might be true if bot 2 issues:
1. Blood on newly bouild rooftop
2. All goblin blood belongs to nearly same goblin.

A dwarf had to walk on the rooftop to build it, right? How are you sure that none of the blood washed off then?

i have very active military all the time, a few of them get the patrol outside alert. and this leaves a lot of blood everywhere. also if the surface herbalist was at the well (where all my soldiers wash of the blood occasionally) his shoes are covered in blood, vomit and goo and just everything (actually nearly noone in my fort has clean shoes for a long time) and once it rains and he is outside just leaves the puddle

same goes for outside constructions or anyting:
1. as said if there was a dwarf, there is someone how had the covering on him to splatter around
2. propably a goblin that died near or on a fort highway or someone washed his blood of on the prefered drinking spot so everyone starts dragging it around if they need something at the well

i highly doubt there is a bug involved, as it seems totally natural

Ok I'll investigate it more carefully now.

1. Priliminary for rooftop - it has been built clean.
Then in let say 1 year (or at least quite long time since roof has been completed) it started raining - blood appeared although noone was on rooftop since it has been built - no purpose.
2. I know and have seen a lot of mud, vomit, blood appears at drinking point, wells, ponds etc - I report totally different case.
3. All blood appeared at different places was from the same goblin.
4. Many times it was blood in the middle of a valley - most top level with just sky above - it is nowhere to be washed out from.

But OK, will check it one more time once again.

Next issue, relaited to this one is - I have sometimes goblin full equipment sets appear (mostly on weapon traps, but not always) - armor, cup, wepon, cloth, just as some1 has been killed there and dropped all its staff. But no corpses.

I guess it might be an ambush missed by dwarfes, but who took bodies in that case?

OK, not quite, but still:

it is raining and it is floor assigned to build (but not yet even started).

see blood has appeared on top of floor which is not even build, and noone has to stand on it.

if it is blood on stone asigned to this particular tile, but i think it is highly impossible.

Regarding goblin equipment sets appearing (apparently) out of thin air, I have observed (in v. .31.25, but I think it's been true for a while) that unlike cage traps, stealthed goblin thieves that trigger a weapon trap do -not- generate a "Snatcher!" announcement (or pause the game, recenter the view, etc).

Note that dead enemies have (by default) their equipment forbidden, but not their corpses, so "disappearing" bodies just went to your corpse/parts stockpiles or the dump, or maybe even rotted away.

And as for the "blood rain" issue: is it possible this is just the "blood spatters in mid-air" bug? (666/838). Those are still existing issues in v. .31.25 (I'm looking at a solid trail from a hacked gobbo hand which traveled more than 10 tiles and up 1 z, and left 5 tiles of mid-air blood that's still there a year later). So maybe it's all just down to one particularly brutal goblin-exploding weapon strike.

(to confirm: check several open-air tiles around the area, and/or (assuming a save) check that open-air tile before building/designating anything)

edit: faster confirm: designate a large floor construction 1 z up from your main open-air battle area. Use shift-enter to select your most common stone. Note technicolor mid-air spatters revealed by the unbuilt floor designation. (optional) Hit 'x' 100 times to undesignate the floor ;-)

Yeah, I'm going to chalk this up to flying body parts. If anyone has evidence to the contrary, reopen this report or PM me on the forums.
