| Summary | 0004588: Ilral artobastein cancels place item in tomb. Could not find path. | ||||
| Description | I have created a huge catacombe spanning 10 z levels and consisting of a thousand or more dwarves. To create such a vast collection of death and history (every time a tomb is used it recieves engravings and statue) I must kill off more or less 75 or more dwarves at a time. Now, when this happens the dwarves of course go balistic and start destroying stuff. Having my dwarves always by the statues in the tombs they tend to destroy the hard work ive done. Causeing this error in pathfinding to continue indefinatly. Perhaps, programming a counter that if a dwarf cancels the exact same job 10 times in a row. The endless loops they take in pathfinding end. *Shrugs* However, I don't know your code so you'll know what to do with it. | ||||

I'm getting this quite a lot too. I don't think it is cavern related. Do you have lots of paths down to the lower levels? I didn't notice it until I had multiple paths down 60 z levels. Seems to not like trying to find a path now that there are multiple ways. |

Reminder sent to: link6065 Can you verify the specific item trying to be placed in a tomb isn't stuck up on a wall somewhere, in a pit, encased in ice or somesuch? |
