| Description | Wanted to play some elves-like dwarfs, found a haveily forested site without an aquifier, prepared for journey carefully (I can recall taking turkeys and ducks, as well as some ore, dwarfs got their skills assigned too), pressed e for embark and then game froze. | ||||

Might be related to 0003972 - although game froze not crashed - but that might be OS dependent or just luck based. |

Unfortunately, I was able to reproduce it twice, but unfortunately deleted DF just few days ago (exams). I am unable to recover that savegame now. Also, I was unable to reproduce it on any other save. |

Reminder sent to: omg_scout Do you remember if this area was in a cold environment? Were you able to see if the snow/waterways were ice or were melting? |

That definately was moderate or warm biome, without any sign of ice there. |
