| Summary | 0004688: Hunting dogs do not help their hunter to take down prey |
|---|
| Description | It seems hunting dogs don't assist the hunter take down an animal. Once the hunter has a creature targeted the hunting dog simply stops moving until the hunter has killed the animal with a rain of poorly targeted bolts.
I would think that the dog is supposed to assist the hunter by attacking an animal in melee to allow quicker unconscious kills. Or at least attack at all. |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Assign a hunting dog to a hunter. Have hunter go hunting. Observe dog behavior once the hunter is in range of some game. |
|---|
| Additional Information | I'm not entirely sure if this would qualify as a bug or an incomplete feature. But at the moment it seems to be more a detriment to have a hunting dog assigned to a hunter as a female hunting dog's puppies will scare away game. While when game is actually engaged, the dog does nothing to assist. |
