| Description | No "Quit Without Saving" option, and savegames don't have a timestamp on them. I shouldn't have to manually end the process because I accidentally chose the wrong save game, and I definitely should not have to look at the folder structure and see the last modified time of my save folder in order to find the right save. A manually set label would go a long way in solving this issue, rather than labelling the save games based on the randomly generated name and the in-game year. | ||||

This tracker is only for bug reports - suggestions should be posted on the forums. Also, you aren't supposed to be able to quit without saving - like other "roguelike" games, saving is only intended to be used for pausing the game for extended periods of time, and keeping multiple copies of the same fortress and deliberately reverting to previous saves (for reasons other than dealing with bugs or data corruption) is considered cheating. |

Falls into the suggestion category quite nicely. I recall this also coming up before. Once a save game is created you can also edit the folder's name to change how it's displayed in DF, so that might save you some grief... |
