Summary | 0004985: Missing/inaccurate attribute text for very low and very high attributes
Description | Creatures with attributes in the very low: (0-250) and very high (2250-5000) (Numbers vary by attribute, strength was used to test and reproduce) attribute ranges do not have the corresponding text (unfathomably weak or unbelievably strong) appear in their descriptions. Attribute numbers in between these ranges do appear as text, but the text does not correspond to the wiki descriptions (http://df.magmawiki.com/index.php/Attributes#How_Your_Dwarf_Gets_Attributes) Runesmith (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=59056.0) was used to determine actual skill levels, with text confirmed by ingame viewing of a seven party embark of dwarves.
Steps To Reproduce | Give male dwarves [PHYS_ATT_RANGE:STRENGTH:0:100:200:300:400:450:500] Give female dwarves [PHYS_ATT_RANGE:STRENGTH:1250:1500:1750:2000:2500:3000:5000] Create a new world and embark. Connect runesmith. Observe text ingame and runesmith numbers out of game for each dwarf.

I'm pretty sure that the descriptions are meant to be relative to the creature's attribute range rather than an absolute range of 0 to 5000 - the wiki would be in error in that case. I can't find a post by Toady though. For which attribute values do you see which description? |

I tested Memory, Agility, and Strength, and for all three, attribute numbers within the 0-250 range and 2250-5000 range did not have any mention in the creature's description. |
