Come on, please. It's christmas and I have no pot. This should be something really specific and easy considering how long it takes to trigger.

It's just not fair. I loved that fort, it was my first one. It's worth taking a look at considering how many thousands of everything I accrued over 20 years. It's just it crashes now and I don't know why because the game has no debug symbols otherwise I -would- know from gdb already

1. Reposting the same report isn't really going to change things.
2. The timing of a crash has no bearing on how easy it is to find the source of the crash.
3. Reversing raw edits that cause crashes does not necessarily prevent the crash. In your case, getting new bears could be problematic.
4. If Dwarf Therapist is to blame for the crash as you seem to think here http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=97983.0 then the root cause is still external.
5. I don't think Toady One is in the habit of fixing corrupted saves. Even if he were, he'd most likely only look at the save after the next release at the earliest, which will be mid-January at the earliest. You could create a new great fortress is that time.

That last point is especially important -- the point of reports is fixing bugs, not fixing saves. Your save is probably unrecoverable short of manually editing the save file, which Toady would not do even if this crash pointed to a fixable bug in DF (and it doesn't). Posting reports won't make your save come back. Please use autobackup next time.
