| Description | My dwarves were hard at battle with a forgotten beast who shoots globs of spit (I'm assuming, since the description said "Beware its deadly spittle!") Where it lands on the ground, item view says only "Smear of " ("pool of", etc.) | ||||

Confirmed, kind of. I'm fighting a similar kind of FB ("beware its deadly spittle"), and if I 'k' over it, there is "A pool of " on the same tile as the beast itself. There have been a few symbols shooting away from it that I imagine must be spit (they're white and look like _ and > printed together), but 'k'ing over the tiles, they don't show up at all - it's only telling me about the floor tiles. |

Does this still happen? I couldn't get it to reproduce with a 0.40.05 spittle FB arena battle. |
