| Description | http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=100735.0 Gods may curse historical figures to "prowl the night in search of blood", which i presume is a curse of vampirism. However, they may apply this curse to figures who already are vampires. Other curses should be inflicted on vampires. disregard all this in case the curse mentioned is not vampirism but a nightly transformation of sorts. then it's still confusing, as other curses specifically state what their target figures turn into at full moon. | ||||

I believe that once someone becomes a vampire, the legends always refers to them as a vampire, including events prior to the transformation. Night creature spouses have a similar effect. Edit: http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=3563 |

I forgot to mention here what i wrote in the linked thread: I've checked the creatures in question. At least the vampire rodent woman definitely was leading the life of a vampire for years before being cursed to prowl the night. |
