Summary | 0005298: Necromancers of races that can't speak (modded)
Description | In a modded game of mine, I noticed that members of two races that can't speak have written books. A check revealed that they had learned the secrets of life and death, despite those secrets requiring CAN_SPEAK. The historical figures in question a) are never referred to as necromancers, and b) have screwed up master-apprentice relationships, often becoming an apprentice of multiple necromancers, while being master of several others. In at least one case (Icunygh Menacedscribe in the attached save), there are necromancers that are both master and apprentice to the same bugged necromancer. Save at http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=5602
Steps To Reproduce | Have a civilized race that builds sites, but lacks CAN_SPEAK

It seems that several of the interaction target tokens do not function properly. Apart from this issue, I've noticed and seen a report that range doesn't work for adventurers, and I have a custom creature that is supposed to animate (pieces of) itself via IT_AFFECTED_CREATURE, but animates everything dead. I'll try to investigate further and change this report/add a new report as appropriate. Edit - the bit about IT_AFFECTED_CREATURE was likely an user error on my behalf. |
