Did you actually assign them the appropriate labours and do they have the appropriate tools necessary for those tasks?

Mining and cutting wood require tools - picks and axes - and hunting will typically send a unit looking for a bow and arrow assuming the labour is assigned and there's an available path to huntable animals.

@Logical2u i made sure to embark with all the necessary picks, axes, and crossbow. Ive also made sure they have points in their specific skills, as well as the appropriate labors assigned to them. Ive also toggled forbid on their job items to no avail. Also ive been playing df since v31.25 with the Lazy Newb Pack.

Are your miners/woodcutters/hunters in the military?

Are you using any utilities like Dwarf Therapist to toggle the labors?

@Footkerchief they are not in the military (i know what you mean though, in previous games my axe cutters would not cut wood because of that). Ive tried using Dwarf Therapist, though it made no differnece, so ive been setting their labors manually to no avail.

UPDATE: I seem to have fixed this issue. Apparently i just had to make a clean re-download of the client, and now the dwarves do their assigned labors correctly. Perhaps my download was corrupted or somthing.

If a manager could make this as 'resolved' that would be great.
