Summary | 0005362: Dwarf Fortress drops to 1/2 of previous fps after digging large exploratory tunnel
Description | I usually play on a 6x6 embark, and my fps stays at the default cap throughout the entire game. But in my most recent fortress, my fps dropped to half that for no apparent reason. The only thing I was doing at the time was digging a long tunnel across the entire map. My fortress contained 9 dwarves at the time.
Steps To Reproduce | Embark on 6x6, play a little, then dig down and dig a long tunnel. Only rarely works to reproduce.

A save would probably be helpful. It is hard to diagnose FPS issues. Do you have seasonal saves that you could load and see when the FPS hit happened? Some of us play on old computers and any FPS increase is greatly appreciated! |

Yeah, it would be helpful to get a save that demonstrates the change in FPS. You can upload to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ |
