Summary | 0005692: 34.05 Adv Mode save crashes on load in 34.06 |
---|
Description | I seem to be unable to move my 34.05 save to 34.06. The save was started in adventure mode in 34.05 about a week ago, and I just copied the save folder from the 34.05 data directory to the 34.06 data directory. The old save shows up as "Continue Playing" in the new version, but when it's selected, and the adventurer's name is selected, it acts like it's restoring the save but then Windows gives me the "Dwarf Fortress.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry blah blah," dialog. I can still load the save in the older 34.05 version. |
---|
Additional Information | I tried re-downloading the game, and copying only the region folder after creating a new empty "save" folder in the 34.06 data directory, but nothing different happened. This is vanilla DF; all I changed in the previous version were a couple init values (VOLUME:0, INTRO:NO, and MACRO_MS:320) and a bunch of macros. But it makes no difference whether I move those changes forward or not. |
