| Description | A miner from the original embark team is starving/dehydrating himself to death on a 'hunt for small creature' job. His trapping skill has never been activated. This happened after the most recent migration wave, where the fort's first dwarf with trapping (And the trapping labour) arrived. Also, there are no animal traps in this fortress, so the ability to do the 'hunt for small creature' job at all is probably also a bug... But more important is the non-trapper starving-himself-to-death bit. | ||||

The most likely reason this is occurring is because there's no food accessible to the miner, and he's hunting for something to eat. Check whether there's anything else available for him to eat/drink. |

To be crystal clear: "Hunt for small creature" is intended behavior for dwarves that are starving, regardless of their labor settings. |
