| Description | Since there are a number of menus which navigate using the plus and minus keys on the numkey pad, I sometimes find myself hitting them on menus where they aren't needed. If I do so on the military screen, nothing seems to happen, but the next key I hit to do something the game crashes to screen. | ||||

Just got the same crash situation after bringing up the military interface, going into alerts, then schedule, making some changes in the schedule, returning to positions and hitting the down arrow key. (It was the actual down arrow, but that usually maps the same as the numpad one in most areas I've seen) |

No dwarfs are carrying daggers in my game, this issue seems more like exception handling than equipment related. |

There are already three verified crash bugs in the military screen. Please confirm that the problem you are experiencing is not one of these three issues. 0000029 0000035 0000156 and as linked above 0000378 is a possibility as well There are many pages in the military menu what exact page are you in when this crash occurs? |

Well there may be something else here. I have a save game where I've been able to reproduce this issue, but it doesn't seem to be occurring on my current save (as I still accidentally hit the wrong keys from time to time). So perhaps it had something to do with one of my military dwarfs from then who has since departed this world and their squad. It is on the squad assignment screen (ie the default one when you call up military), perhaps it was some item other than daggers, though it seemed like I could use other means to navigate without crashing. |

With the many fixes to the military, this bug is probably obsolete. estokien, if you are able to reproduce this in a current version (31.12 and above), please reopen this report, upload a save and post your new findings. http://dffd.wimbli.com/ |
