Summary | 0006109: Cannot save while using Lazy Newb Pack
Description | When I open Lazy Newb Pack to change settings for my world, save files do not persist after I close the Lazy Newb Pack GUI. They do persist as long as the LNP is open.
Additional Information | Whenever I close the LNP interface, it tells me that files have been modified or created and asks me if I'd like to add them to the zipfile. I say yes, and it returns an error message for two files.

You actually have to unzip the files from the folder. It sounds like you're trying to play directly from the zipped package, as when you save, it generates files for the world, which cannot be saved into the zipfile. When you do unzip the files, make sure it's to a location such as your desktop or documents and not your program files, as you will be required to run Dwarf Fortress/the LNP interface as an administrator to save files in that location. |
