| Description | I have created now 5 large worls. 1 with mineral setting "Everywhere", 3 with Mineral setting "Frequent", 1 with Mineral setting"Sparce" There was to coal, not in one Place. There just seems to be no Coal on the maps at all. I checked every map with "prospect". I am using the Lazy Newb Pack. I have not tried it with different world sizes yet. | ||||

I just generated a Large world with Minerals "Everywhere", and the default embark location contained both bituminous coal and lignite. Either you've just been unlucky with the worlds you generated (keep trying and you'll eventually get a decent one), or you're using DFHack's "prospect" tool incorrectly (during embark, you must type "prospect all" to get minerals, you need to type it before pressing F1/F2/etc. to view a biome, and both types of coal show up under "Other vein stone" rather than "Ores"). |

It probably has nothing to do with the world being "Large", but it happens in every single world i create. I created a few more since reporting this and not a single tile of bituminous coal and lignite. And yes i know how to use the prospector tool Tomorow, i will just delete my dwarf fortress game and redownload it. Maybe something got screwed up somehow |

There's probably something wrong with your raws, then, which means this isn't a bug - with the stock raws, coal appears just fine. |

ok, issue is resolved. I redownloaded the game and it works now properly. |
