Summary | 0006190: Modded curse results in false wound descriptions/crashes in Legends mode
Description | In one of my modded games, I added a custom wendigo curse, which is a permanent transformation. Over time, this has frustrated me with crashes in Legends mode when viewing them or their spawn. Now, in a recent worldgen, I spied that one of the wounds a wendigo caused to a human (who then became a lesser wendigo despite being devoured before the transformation would take place) was that it ripped the human's tail off - which humans don't have, of course, so I suspect the two may be related. Presumably, this is due to the use of indexes rather than absolute body parts and the fact that, once a transformation has taken place, the game no longer refers to the old race of a creature, which may cause problems if the wounded creature has a longer or vastly different list of body parts than the turner.
Steps To Reproduce | Have a curse that permanently turns a creature into another one, and generate a world.
Additional Information | Save: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=6903 Aru Alaumac is the human/lesser wendigo whose tail was ripped off. Viewing Accok Satthalir is an example of a lesser wendigo that crashes Legends mode when viewed.
