| Description | Back in version 0.28.181.40d (and earlier), discovering raw adamantine would cause the King to arrive "dressed as a peasant" and without his entourage, but since version 0.31.01 this no longer happens. The logic still seems to be present in the code, though it only gets triggered when discovering raw adamantine as a mineral event ("You have struck raw adamantine! Praise the miners!") rather than as a map feature ("Raw adamantine! Praise the miners!"). Given how easy it is to find raw adamantine (it's typically guaranteed to happen the instant you discover the magma sea, sometimes even the 3rd cavern layer), this is probably a good thing. With modifications to the raws (making raw adamantine occur within other minerals as an inclusion, or adding [DEEP_SPECIAL] to some other mineral), it should still be possible to trigger the "adamantine king" in the current version. | ||||
