Summary0006207: incorrect error when cancelling traction bench
DescriptionWhen requesting a traction bench to be built, through either manager or the workshop, and missing a rope or chain, the job cancelled reads "Need table" when it is not the table that is needed.
Additional InformationFirst found on modded version; but reproducible on a vanilla install.

If I have no table, mechanisms, or chain, the job cancels with "Needs table".
If I have a table but no mechanisms or chain, the job cancels with "Needs mechanisms".
If I have a table and mechanisms but no chain, the job cancels with "Needs chain".
If I have all 3 ingredients the job completes successfully.

Cannot reproduce.

For multi-component jobs (building traction benches, decorating items, etc.) when queued through the manager, if multiple components are missing, only the first will be shown in the error message. In effect, the game goes through the checklist in order one item at a time until it finds one it doesn't have, and stops there.

Just reproduced it now.
Not queued through the manager; table and mechanisms accessible, no chain, reports "Need table"

Are you absolutely certain the table is accessible? Did a dwarf actually haul a table and mechanism to the mechanic's workshop? What happens if you make another table and try again? What are your tables made of?

tables are rock (limestone to be precise); mechanism is also limestone; I haven't set any burrows, there are locked buildings in the 5-6 tiles that have to be walked, mechanic can access the workshop (he is currently building more mechanisms in it). No items are hauled.

Tried with 2 tables and 5 mechanisms (and 2 rope?) in storage and not assigned to be built.

If you have a save for your bug, there generally is never a reason to NOT upload it as it makes reviewing it easier instead of asking 100 questions. Please do so if you still have one for this bug (http://dffd.wimbli.com). Since I haven't seen any other reports of this, please attempt to reproduce it.

Drazinononda, if you have a save for this, as you seem to have seen this happen, please upload one.
