Summary | 0006297: Arrows, severed body parts, and any flying projectiles aren't animated. |
---|
Description | If you sever any body part, shoot anything such as arrows or crossbow bolts, or throw anything (such as a knife), the object teleports to its destination and does not show the animation as they fly through the air. Objects do, however, hit the creature aimed at if it is to make contact. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | Simply download Dwarf Fortress (0.34.11) and start playing Adventure Mode. You will notice that throwing anything, flying severed body part, or any form of flying shots will just appear at its destination instead of flying through the air... The bug can be reproduced in Legacy or SDL without altering anything. |

Additional Information | Version bug reports as far back as version 0.31.25. |
