Summary0006342: Lever will not link to bridge
DescriptionIt is the darnedest thing, but a lever will not link to a bridge. I've tried building levers near the bridge and in my dining hall, neither works. I've tried building various bridges. Again, it didn't work. I abandoned my fort and reclaimed. Again, the bridge did not work.

Steps To ReproduceI try to link a bridge to the lever outside near the wall or in my dining hall. Neither works. It's like the bridges are not there.

Reminder sent to: pilgrimboy

I know I've successfully linked bridges to levers, so we're going to need a save (whole region folder). Put it on the DFFD (http://dffd.wimbli.com/) and post a link to it here.

Yes. I have successfully done bridges to levers before. That's why this was baffling to me. The bridges aren't even showing up when I choose link to bridge in the levers. There are bridges in the top right.

Then there is also a trial lever and bridge on the top. None of them will link up.

Here is the location of the file:

There are only two bridges in your entire fortress (right next to your trade depot), and I was able to link them both to the lever next to your perimeter wall (once I enabled Mechanics on a nearby idle dwarf - currently, your only mechanic is in the military).

Yes. I just did a fresh download and it worked. I am sorry for wasting your time. And I must have uploaded before saving. Anyway, Thanks. And sorry.

It must have had something to do with the Lazy Newb Pack.

I'll mark this as unable to reproduce, then. If it happens again, and you have a save showing it reliably, you can re-open the report or PM us on the forums.
