Summary | 0006370: Artifacts/fonts/tiles appearing on MacBook Pro with Retina
Description | There have been plenty of 'fix' reports out there for DF (made via Dwarf Builder) on a Mac addressing the issue of the game playing in a very small portion of 'windowed mode', even while stretched/full-screened. The noted bugfix is to change the [PRINT_MODE:2D] (in the init.txt file) to [PRINT_MODE:STANDARD]. This does in fact fix the game window being forever-shrunken and tiny, however, in this case I'm finding some very incorrect fonts coming through (which don't appear in windowed mode)... Case in point: http://imgur.com/4kOYHjw This looks like some kind of font issue... I'm using Phoebus_16x16, but I have no idea why they are deciding to render in those spots... all while in PRINT_MODE:STANDARD (and not 2D), the only mode that will work properly for me. Am I doomed?! :( Any help would be deeply appreciated! Thanks!
Steps To Reproduce | Simply run the game with PRINT_MODE:STANDARD

That's simply how Phoebus looks when not using TrueType. You should be able to switch to TrueType with F12, but TrueType has its own problems, and I think it isn't implemented everywhere. Either way, not a bug. |
