What were you doing at the time of the crash? Is it repeatable at all?

I have honestly no clue. First game, a couple days in maybe. Volcanic embark, not overly steep, lots of soil, fair amount of flora & fauna. Initial living quarters were being hollowed out. FIrst & only stockpile (food, default selections) hand been declared fairly recently, was beginning to recieve items.

Also the following warnings are of note with respect to any problems on OS X, complaints about old Quickdraw code. I think they must relate to the music, I'm not sure. They aren't new warnings.

Terminal, during load:

014-07-08 11:19:22.376 dwarfort.exe[54312:507] Warning once: This application, or a library it uses, is using NSQuickDrawView, which has been deprecated. Apps should cease use of QuickDraw and move to Quartz.
Dec 31 18:59:59 iMac4.local dwarfort.exe[54312] <Error>: The function `CGSFlushWindow' is obsolete and will be removed in an upcoming update. Unfortunately, this application, or a library it uses, is using this obsolete function, and is thereby contributing to an overall degradation of system performance. Please use `CGSFlushWindowContentRegion' instead.

It's probably a world-specific issue. Can you upload a save? (Preferably to http://dffd.wimbli.com/, as long as it's still working.)

Also, those messages are due to a problem with the version of SDL that DF uses, not a sound issue.

I thought 0x0000000000000000 on mac was the same/similar as c0000005 on Windows?

Given that there have been two save-compatibility breaks since 0.40.01, this report isn't very useful. Ogg, if you can reproduce this in the current version, please reopen this and attach a save.
