| Additional Information | Don't know if this might be important: I have also seen the error messages Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-close.c: 759: _dl_close: Assertion `map->l_init_called' failed! and [xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing queue [xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called [xcb] Aborting, sorry about that. Dwarf_Fortress: ../../src/xcb_io.c:274: poll_for_event: Assertion »!xcb_xlib_threads_sequence_lost« failed. Aborted (core dumped) errorlog.txt contains several lines that say "Empty biased index vector". | ||||

I appear to have the same issue on the Windows version with "Empty biased index vector" in the error log. OS's event log has "Faulting application name: Dwarf Fortress.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x53bb189a Faulting module name: Dwarf Fortress.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x53bb189a Exception code: 0xc0000005" The "Empty biased index vector" appears in the error log the moment the game crashes (not on load, and best I can tell not on unpause). |
