Summary | 0007012: Armor practically ignored by stronger blunt attacks
Description | I noticed that I was dying an awful lot in adventure mode to kicks and punches to the head even though I was wearing a helmet, so I went into the testing arena to see what was going on. As it turns out, armor seems to have a very steep cutoff on how well it protects you. Armor does fairly well against normal enemies (humans, goblins, elves, etc.) with normal equipment, but stronger enemies like night creatures crumple it like aluminum foil. One test I tried had a bronze colossus with an adamantine sword hitting a human with an adamantine helmet in the head; the sword didn't even scratch him, but a single punch was able to pulp his head and send him flying. I also tried a human hitting another human in full adamantine armor with a platinum hammer, and it was probably a fluke but the armored human actually took MORE damage than an unarmored one.
Steps To Reproduce | Use blunt attacks against armored targets, compare with non-blunt attacks.
