Summary | 0007177: Wandering dwarves settle in abandoned fortress without marking it as reinhabited
Description | I reclaimed a fortress and found it still inhabited. Not officially inhabited with a ruling body or anything, and still classified as an abandoned fort, but it seems that over the 430 or so years since the fortress was officially abandoned many itinerant dwarves have settled in the ruins. A few even moved in before the forgotten beast that had initially conquered the fort was slain by the mighty human warrior Idla Pantspink.
Steps To Reproduce | Check the legends entry for fortresses that have been abandoned for a few centuries and look to see if any dwarves settled there after they fell, then reclaim them and send a dwarf to look around the ruins or visit in adventure mode.
Additional Information | I don't know how the AI works in this regard, but presumably whatever token attached to fortresses that marks them as places for dwarves seeking a new home to settle in isn't properly removed when the fort is abandoned.
