Description | If you give a dwarf both mining an woodcutting skill on embark, the dwarf will choose only a pick and will not cut wood. This is with making sure there are enough axes for each woodcutter to have one. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Prepare carefully for journey Make dwarf with miner and woodcutter skill purchase both a pick and axe embark assign mining job __\ I'm not sure if you have to assign the mining job assign woodcutter job / first to reproduce. | ||||

Not a bug - the Mining and Wood Cutting labors are mutually exclusive (and have been so since the very first release of Dwarf Fortress nearly 8 years ago), so it is impossible to enable both of them on the same dwarf at the same time. |
