Summary | 0007499: Traders appear at Depot despite it being inaccessible
Description | My Depot is (now) intentionally inaccessible once I discovered that traders would somehow teleport to it even when they appear on the map and announce that they are leaving because my depot is inaccessible. I hadn't gotten around to build a path to it yet when this started happening, and it's continuing to occur reliably each arrival.

Reminder sent to: schoenga2010 Wagons will bypass a site. Merchants with pack animals only can reach the depot. Does this explain what is happening? |
|
I don't know for sure, but will investigate. So even if a depot has no access shown on the 'D' screen, the pack animal merchants will still make it. |
|
That is correct. You can read more about it on the wiki here: http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/Their_wagons_have_bypassed_your_inaccessible_site I'm going to resolve this for now. If it turns out to not be case, please reopen this report and post new information. |
