Summary | 0007508: Several Weird Flow problems observed
Description | I set up a fort near a complicated river junction which turned out to have a two waterfalls in canyons near each other. Weirdness 1: while there were two waterfalls, there were three mist clouds. One of them looked a lot like a waterfall but there was no river feeding it. Perhaps water was leaking out of the aquafer. Weirdness 2: I was digging tunnels at the same level as the top of the magma surface, but I had a hole dug one level deeper into a magma chamber beneath. I have never seen this behavior before, but after a time, some lava seemed to come up out of the hole and start filling my tunnels. (I was going to flood them with magma anyway, it just happened prematurely. Weirdness 3: I had build a wooden staicase up and down the cliff face near one of the (real) waterfalls. After a year or so, the waterfall decided to back up around the staircase (in mid air) and ended up flooding my fortress.
