Summary0007826: Babies/children born out of wedlock
DescriptionIt's now winter of the first year in my so-far first and only fort in 0.40.06. Two babies have been born: One to my weaponsmith and a farmer on 15th Limestone, and one to my two miners on 21st Sandstone. Depending on the length of the dwarven gestation period, this may imply that the mothers were pregnant upon embarking. Of the four parents, none are married (to each other or anyone else) and none have lovers. They are just friends with each other (and with all of the starting seven).

Might or might not be pertinent: I have not noticed any couples get married at all since I started playing 0.40.xx, including in a 50-dwarf, 5-year fort.

 Had it happen to me, one of the starting 7 had 3 children, all 3 from different mothers.

This probably has to do with the change to allow any male/female creature to have children even without a baby/child state:

Just to confirm, I had this occur with one of my starting seven dwarves. Father was on friendly terms.
