Summary | 0007942: Graphical Map Overlay
Description | I would like to recommend a color drawing overlay that the player can use to place colored lines, blocks, etc. "on top" of the actual map. This wouldn't change the character used on the map, only perhaps the background color. One example use would be to sketch/draw out a planned tunnel system or above ground fortification plan that could be followed up on later with actual commands to dig or construct. I have found myself doing this often already with dig commands that aren't yet accessible to miners. I was thinking how I might do something similar topside. This overlay would be most useful if it could be toggled on and off to avoid obfuscating the map during normal play. This is just an idea for you to consider obviously. Thanks for your attention.
