| Description | I encountered a Giant Cave Spider and became trapped in its web; in a desperate attempt to escape I tried throwing my dagger at it. When I did this the game stopped accepting commands but continued running, the cave spider repeatedly spewing webs at me and attempting to bite through my helmet. After several minutes of this a naked mole dog attracted the spider's attention long enough for me to wriggle free of the webs and finish throwing the dagger, at which point the game resumed normally.
It seems that attempting to throw something while webbed prevents the throw from occurring until freed, but considers the time spent attempting to escape as part of the action rather than a separate action that must be completed first. |
