Summary | 0008087: Water disappears
Description | This fort has a chute through which water flows to the lower levels for the production of obsidian. Three years after I opened the chute, it still hadn't filled up, so I became curious as to what was going on. It soon became clear that the chute wouldn't fill up above level 0, even though oceans of water were being poured into the chute. As of this save, the chute is filled to level 0 with 7/7 water. The rest of the chute is also filled with 7/7 water, but at level 1 there are four lever operated hatches that form a barrier between level 0 and level 1. All one needs to do is flip the switch to open the hatches and watch as the entire chute is drained of water down to level 0. With no obvious place where this large amount of water is going to. http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9457

Not 100% sure I understand you, but I was able to flood your water/magma mixing area and 5-10 levels above it in seconds? |
