Summary | 0008154: too many webs
Description | Apparently the cap on webs is not being maintained in fort mode. When I first discovered the cavern, there were barely any webs. All 5000 of them grew over the course of about 10 dwarf years. In the save you can see around 5000 webs in the 1st cavern level's west side. The webs don't just cover the floor, they cover every layer of tree canopy as well, even the trees over water. The first save is still from 40.09. By now I've updated to 40.10. Animal populations spawning again in the caves help a little bit with clearing some webs, but despite that, the webs have now even crossed the half-map boundary into the east side as well. Counting 5500 webs now. There's a few seconds lag in the stocks menu when trying to look at the thread entry.
