Summary | 0008199: Dwarves don't gain skill from missed/blocked/parried attacks
Description | My level 7 Axedwarf and my level 1 Swordsdwarf were sparring and the Axedwarf gained 300 exp while the Swordsdwarf gained none. This is because the Axedwarf was so good that every attack the Swordsdwarf made was parried or blocked.
Steps To Reproduce | Any combat anywhere, presumably
Additional Information | I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but if it is intentional, it should be revisited. Yes, missing/getting blocked/parried is not a 'success', but learning (experience) comes from both success and failure in the real world (and in Dwarf Fortress as well, presumably). Perhaps there should be a 50% penalty to experience gained if your attack is not 'successful' or something, but no experience at all seems unintended.
